Helia Wine Company 'Puccini' Old Vine Zinfandel 2025 Sonoma Valley

$40.00 | 750mL

Perched at 750 feet elevation in Kenwood, Puccini is a historic mixed-black vineyard planted in 1906 and enclosed by a hand-built stone wall. Though primarily Zinfandel, the site includes scattered plantings of Flame Tokay, Burger, and other heritage varieties. Farmed organically and worked by hand, this tiny one-acre vineyard produces fruit that reflects the character of Sonoma Mountain with bright fruit and electric freshness.

Location: Sonoma Valley AVA - Kenwood, CA

Farming: Organically farmed, all work done by hand (no tractor equipment). Dry farmed. Planted in Laniger loam, a rare and treasured soil series.

Age: 120 year old vines

Winemaking: Crushed and destemmed to emphasize the fruit character and freshness. Spontaneously fermented to dryness, and pressed gently into two 228L neutral oak barrels, and aged for 7 months before bottling.
