From the historic 1888 planted vines at Bedrock Vineyard. Situated in the heart of Sonoma Valley within Glen Ellen, CA. Regenerative Organic and CCOF Organic certified grapes. A field blend of primarily Zinfandel, with dozens of interplanted varieties such as Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Merlot, Lenoir, and more. Co-fermented with a small percentage of whole-cluster Carignane. Peppery and aromatic, with a richness and intense fruit and spice character on the palate that reflects the Bedrock site.

Location: Sonoma Valley AVA - Glen Ellen, CA

Farming: CCOF and ROC Regenerative Certified. Non-till and minimal water usage. Planted on the rocky loam soils from the Red Hill Clay Soil Series - derived from the alluvium of the Mayacamas range sitting above the vineyard.

Age: 136 year old vines

Winemaking: Two-thirds of the fruit lightly foot tread, one-third crushed and destemmed. Small amounts of Carignan were added whole cluster. Spontaneously fermented until dry, then pressed gently into one 500L neutral barrel. Aged for 9 months before bottling in July 2024.
